Symposium: Child and Adolescent Psychiatry

The Maltese Association of Psychiatric Nurses is organizing a Symposium on Child and Adolescent Psychiatry on the 14th February 2008 at the John Paul II Hall in Attard. Below is the registration form:

The special key note speaker for the event is Mr.Páll Biering (Ph.D., RN) who will be coming all the way from Iceland to share his experience with children and adolescents with us. Mr. Biering is the Chairman of the board of “Project Self Discovery” in Iceland. Project Self Discovery is a treatment and prevention program for adolescent with mental and behavior disorders. Apart from being an associate professor in psychiatric nursing at the University of Iceland, Mr. Biering is an individual expert, acting as an evaluator for the Seventh Framework Programme of the European Community for research.

Other speakers for the event include Mrs. Amanda Said, Mrs. Rosette Buhagiar, Mrs Audrey Carter, Dr. Abigail Cassar Parnis & Dr. Nigel Camilleri. Everyone is welcome to attend for this symposium but limited space is available, so make sure you send your registration form early to avoid disappointments. Price for attendance is €15.
