I recommend that everyone take a good look at the information contained within this site which provides evidence based and up to date data as to why atypical antipsychotics (such as Quetiapine and Olanzapine) are being considered effective first line treatment for acute manic episodes or why Sodium Valporate is considered as being effective as Lithium in the pediatric treatment of bipolar disorder, among a wealth of other interesting information.
