Newsletter Progress

As many of you know we were supposed to publish the first issue of the MAPN newsletter this February. Due to various problems we were not able to make it for the end of this month.

In the first issue of the newsletter we would like to have a report from the HORATIO congress which will be held between 21st and 24th of March in Arnhem, Netherlands. Charmaine Borg (MAPN Secretary) and I will be representing MAPN in this congress.

We are also planning on having three issues for this year and four issues in 2008 with the extra 'special edition' issue focusing on the HORATIO festival which will be held in Malta in November 2008. The intention is to distribute a hard copy to all MAPN members, which now sum to nearly 100, and as you may understand this involves quite an amount of money. Unfortunately MAPN is still lacking a main sponsor and we are sustained financially only from our paying members.

I take this opportunity to thank the newsletter editor, Carmen Galea, and all those who are helping her in making the issue of the first newsletter a success.
